I completed 12th grade at Cambine Secondary School. With dedication and effort, I always sought to improve my performance and always had a desire to learn much more about electricity. During my secondary education, I participated in science holidays where we assembled circuits and other scientific experiments. I always dedicated myself to wanting to know more about electricity, which is why I chose to take a course in Industrial Electricity. I, Zaqueu da Gina Vilanculos, was born in the province of Inhambane, district of Massinga, on November 19, 2007. I grew up from age 0 to 12 in my father's house and from 12 to 19 in my grandfather's house after my parents separated. I attended grades 1-4 at Uane Primary School, grades 5-7 at Mudauca Primary School, and grades 8-10 at Mudauca Secondary School. I completed my second cycle of secondary education at Massinga Secondary School. After my parents' separation, I was a dedicated boy focused on poetry, as it was the only way I could express myself. In the 9th grade, I participated in the training of activists for the Biz generation at my school, and in the 10th grade, I participated in the APEC activist training representing my school. In my career as a poet, I have participated in several competitions, including: the Bank of Mozambique in 2024, the Cultural Week in 2024, the cultural soiree at the Save University of Massinga in 2024, and the Francophonie competition in 2025. It is worth noting that I won first place in all competitions except the one at Save University, where I came in second. I have experience as a leader, having been a class leader and general head of culture. I chose this course due to a lack of resources, as my mother doesn't have the money for me to study at a university, since both of us depend on her, my younger brother and I. My biggest dream is to graduate in law and literature and pursue my career as a poet. Since I don't have the means to fulfill my dreams, I commit to dedicating myself to the field I'm in, given my agility in adapting to any area. I am immensely grateful to The Giving Genie for this opportunity, as this scholarship means a lot to me and is very important. I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the study opportunity that Miss has granted me during these three years. I am very grateful for all the support, affection, and trust placed in me. I commit to completing this stage with dedication, effort, and determination, as I greatly value this opportunity. I also humbly ask for your support so that I can continue my studies at university. Unfortunately, my father informed me that he will not be able to pay the tuition fees due to his many family responsibilities, and I am afraid of interrupting my studies. My biggest dream is to become a mechanical engineer, specializing in parts manufacturing or welding. I am passionate about this field and wish to continue my education to build a better future and help my family. I respectfully and hopefully ask that you consider my request. I promise to remain dedicated, responsible, and committed to my studies. Thank you so much for everything you have done for me. May God continue to greatly bless your life. My school journey was marked by many challenges, but also by great learning experiences. I attended the 7th and 10th grades at Santo Eusébio Secondary School, a school that played an important role in my academic growth. During this time, I met dedicated teachers, made friends, and learned the importance of effort and discipline in my studies. Despite this, I faced several difficulties, mainly financial. There were times when I lacked adequate conditions to acquire school supplies, pay for transportation, and access other resources necessary to continue studying without worries. Even so, I never gave up on my dreams because I always believed that education is the key to a better future. It was in the face of these difficulties that I decided to apply for the Guiven Ginie scholarship. The scholarship represented an opportunity to continue my studies with more hope and stability. I knew that with this support, I could improve my academic performance and continue striving for my goals. Today, I feel very grateful for the way I was welcomed. The Giving Genie not only helped with my studies, but also strengthened my confidence and motivation to continue growing academically and personally. I am very grateful for this opportunity and hope to repay all the support I received in the future. I am Stívia Eunício Chelengo. I was born in the Zavala district, Inhambane province, and grew up in the same region. I was raised by my single mother, along with my sister. My mother has always been a hardworking, dedicated woman, determined to ensure our well-being and education, despite the financial difficulties we faced throughout our lives. I began my studies at the Quissico Complete Primary School, where I attended from 1st to 7th grade. During this period, the school faced several difficulties, including a lack of adequate infrastructure, a shortage of school materials, and classrooms that did not always offer the best conditions for learning. Despite these challenges, I never gave up on my studies. I stayed focused on my goals, worked hard to learn, and managed to complete elementary school without ever repeating a grade. Later, I attended Quissico Secondary School, where I studied from 8th to 10th grade. At this stage, I found better learning conditions. The school had a more organized environment, dedicated teachers, and resources that contributed to the students' development. Thanks to my effort and dedication, I was able to continue my studies successfully, never failing or repeating any class. To complete high school, I attended Quissico's 25 de Novembro Secondary School, where I studied from 11th to 12th grade. This school offered good conditions for teaching, with adequate classrooms, qualified teachers, and an environment conducive to learning. During this stage of my academic training, I continued to demonstrate responsibility, discipline, and commitment to my studies, completing high school without ever repeating a grade. Throughout my journey as a student, I learned several important lessons that I will carry with me for life. I learned that education is a powerful tool for transforming lives and creating opportunities. I also learned the importance of perseverance, responsibility, respect for others, dedication to work, and self-confidence. I understood that obstacles exist to be overcome and that constant effort is essential to achieving our dreams. After completing high school, I decided to enroll in a vocational training institute to acquire technical knowledge and prepare for the job market. I chose the Industrial Mechanics course because I believe this area is fundamental to the development of industry and the economy. In addition, I have always been interested in understanding the operation of machines, equipment, and industrial processes. I see this course as an opportunity to develop practical and technical skills that will allow me to build a solid career and contribute to the development of my country. I applied for a scholarship because my mother does not have sufficient financial resources to pay for my education. Despite the economic difficulties, she has always valued education and deeply desires that I have the opportunity to study and build a better future. The scholarship represents a very important opportunity for me, as it allows me to continue my education without further burdening my family's financial situation. At the institute, I hope to acquire theoretical and practical knowledge related to Industrial Mechanics. I intend to learn about industrial machines, manufacturing processes, preventive and corrective maintenance, mechanical systems, technical drawing, welding, occupational safety, measuring instruments, and other areas essential to my professional training. I also hope to develop teamwork, leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt to the challenges of the industrial environment. That's why I'm able to study the studios without a better future in my life, but in the end, I never gave up on my dream. Education transcends the simple acquisition of knowledge; it represents the foundation of intellectual, social, and human transformation. In a world marked by constant change, knowledge becomes the most powerful instrument to break down barriers, broaden horizons, and build a trajectory guided by excellence. My school journey began in 2008, when I entered the 1st grade. At that time, I was just a child full of dreams, without imagining the challenges I would encounter along the way. Despite my desire to learn, my journey was not easy. I grew up facing difficulties that often tested my ability to continue studying. There were times when my family's financial limitations created uncertainty about the continuation of my studies. While many saw school as a normal routine, for me each completed year represented a victory achieved with much effort, sacrifice, and hope. At times, I was afraid I wouldn't be able to reach the end of the journey, but I refused to give up on my dreams. In 2017, I entered high school, a phase that brought greater academic demands and new personal challenges. It wasn't always easy to stay motivated in the face of the difficulties that arose. There were days when fatigue, worry, and uncertainty seemed stronger than my goals. Even so, I found the strength to continue, believing that every effort made at that moment would open doors to a better future. In 2021, I completed the 12th grade, achieving one of the greatest accomplishments of my life. Upon receiving this victory, I remembered all the obstacles I faced, the times I thought the path would be impossible, and the sacrifices made to not abandon my studies. Completing high school was not just a certificate; it represented proof that determination can be greater than any difficulty. Today, looking back, I see a story marked by challenges, perseverance, and hope. Each difficulty faced strengthened my character, taught me to value opportunities, and increased my desire to continue growing. Education has become more than a right for me: it has become a tool for transformation, a source of hope, and the bridge that brings me closer to my dreams and life goals. My name is Stélvia da Tucha Zondiuane Vilanculo. During my educational journey, I began to take conscious shape in 2008. I remember being in 1st grade, taking my first steps into the world of letters and numbers. That initial phase was full of simple discoveries, where each page turned represented the beginning of a dream that I could barely decipher. The initial years of school passed with the normality of someone building a foundation for the future, without imagining the sharp turns that destiny would bring. The first major blow in my journey came in 2014. It was the year my world stopped with the irreparable loss of my mother. The weight of grief, the pain of absence, and the reorganization of family life made classrooms temporarily lose their meaning. Therefore, I spent an entire year without studying. It was a period of silence and mourning, where I needed to find strengths I didn't even know I had to be able to move forward again. Even with a broken heart, the will to overcome made me return to my books. I regained my rhythm and maintained my focus on the goal of finishing high school. However, 2019 held another profoundly painful moment: the loss of my father. I faced grief for the second time, but, in an effort of overcoming, I managed to complete the 12th grade that same year. The victory of finishing secondary school was accompanied by an enormous longing for my parents and, soon after, by a new setback. Due to a lack of financial resources, I stayed home unable to pursue further studies. After years of waiting, uncertainty, and a lot of patience in the drawer of life, the doors have opened again. Today, I am pursuing a high school education. Being here is a direct result of my persistence and the crucial support of a scholarship. This scholarship has been the financial pillar that allows me to continue studying without the ghost of dropping out. It doesn't just fund my classes; it rescues the dream that began in 2008 and honors the memory of my parents, proving that no pain could stop me. I, Cleyd da Laila Lino Mauiango, was born and raised in the province of Inhambane, in the district of Maxixe. I come from a large family: I grew up with my parents and 7 siblings. I had a simple childhood, but with the support and effort of my parents, I never lacked the essentials to study. I completed elementary school from 1st to 7th grade at Nhambiho Primary School. The conditions were precarious, with a lack of desks and classrooms, but even so, I dedicated myself to not repeating a year and managed to graduate with good results. I attended the 8th and 9th grades of high school at the 1st of May Secondary School in Chicuque. Although the facilities were better, the frequent absence of teachers hampered learning. Noticing my difficulties in some subjects, my parents made a great effort and transferred me to the Índico Secondary School in Maxixe. It was there that I completed high school from the 10th to the 12th grade, always striving to study without failing. These experiences taught me that, even in the face of difficulties, dedication and effort are the way to achieve goals. I am immensely grateful to my parents, who, despite being a large family, never spared any effort to ensure that I completed my studies. I chose the Industrial Mechanics course because I enjoy working with machines and understanding how they function. I am a practical person who learns best by getting my hands dirty. I am interested in learning how to repair engines, use tools, and solve mechanical problems. I see this course as a strategic choice for my future. In Mozambique, there are many gas and mining projects, and I know that mechanical professionals are in high demand for machine maintenance. My goal is to work for a large company or, in the future, have my own business in the field. I applied for this scholarship because I needed to minimize household expenses and ease the financial burden on my parents. I've always dreamed of continuing my studies, but I know it represents a high cost for my family. With this scholarship, I will have the opportunity to continue my studies without overburdening those who already work so hard for me. I promise to take advantage of this chance to dedicate myself fully and, in the future, repay all the support I receive. In 2022, I started experiencing difficulties because it was very far from my house to school, and I had to drive up 30 km a day. My mother always managed to get the money, so I went to school on foot, having to wake up at 3 am to arrive at 6 am. 2025 – 2026 I am currently studying at the Estrela do Mar Industrial and Commercial Institute in Inhassoro, continuing my studies in the technical-professional area to develop professional skills and prepare myself for the job market. At first I enrolled and paid the tuition fees, but I wasn't sure if I would finish because of the tuition money. But as soon as they announced the scholarship, I applied, knowing it was my chance to study, and thank God I got the scholarship and have the guarantee of studying and finishing. Therefore, I promise to strive and dedicate myself to achieving the modules, and I am grateful.
